The Bible declares that the joy of the LORD is our strength and in His presence {the presence of the Holy Spirit} is fullness of joy. Since the Lord is joyful, it is clear to see that those who are the happiest in life will hook-up with Him the easiest!
In addition, throughout the Scriptures the Holy Spirit has been likened to wine. When the Holy Spirit was given to the church at its inception, those who were filled with Him were intoxicated by Him. Nothing is to have changed today. All of God’s people are to be intoxicated by Him.
Psalm 2:4 declares “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh.” If God is laughing, shouldn’t we, who are seated with Him in the heavenly places in Christ, be doing the same (Ephesians 2:6-7)?
It is time to fight the good fight of faith and wage spiritual warfare against the powers of darkness by being happy, intoxicated and full of laughter! There is no power on earth that can stand against a people who are in such a state."
